Climbing is potentially an extremely dangerous sport and carries considerable risk of death or personal injury. Some of the activities carried out by Johnny Dawes are of an extreme high risk nature and no attempt is being made to encourage or influence individuals to repeat them against their free will. The Directors of Johnny Dawes Limited accept no responsibility or liability for death or personal injury sustained following interactions with climbing facilities during workshops run by Johnny Dawes where individuals fail to follow instructions or attempt moves which were not both authorised and supervised by Johnny Dawes. Anyone taking part in a workshop does so at their own risk and assumes full personal responsibility for their actions and accepts full responsibility for injuries suffered to themselves or others as a result of their climbing/bouldering activities. The Board of Directors of Johnny Dawes Limited recommends that anyone who is considering climbing should not do so unless they have received professional instruction and training from a suitably qualified individual (or individuals) and that they are fully aware of the consequences and risks of this type of activity. It is recommended that nobody climbs above a height of 2m without adequate safety equipment including bouldering mats directly beneath them, safety harnesses and ropes and supervision from a suitably qualified individual. Individuals are responsible for arranging their own personal accident insurance. Johnny Dawes has an SPA qualification. If in doubt about your ability to execute any move he demonstrates you must seek further guidance from him or from a similarly qualified individual involved in supervising the activity.
